The difference is in the specification, not the badge

Most suppliers will quote an instrument to meet your headline requirement. We specify the instrument to meet your method, and then show you the numbers.

Accuracy stated with its conditions

Every specification on this site lists the full measurement conditions — range, ambient temperature, compensation mode, gas and response time. We do not publish a bare “±1% FS” without the context that makes it meaningful. If a competitor’s datasheet omits those conditions, ask both of us for the same test and compare.

Method equivalence, documented

Our instruments are built against EPA, European and Chinese method frameworks. Where the requirements differ, the Standards & Methods reference states the difference explicitly rather than leaving you to find it after delivery.

Configurable before it is custom

Measurement range, pump flow, probe type, gas configuration, sampling volume, output protocol and data storage are selected at order. You are not forced into a fixed-SKU compromise, and you are not quoted a bespoke price for a standard configuration.

The consumables are published

Filter membranes, filter cores, absorption solutions and wearing parts are listed with part numbers and typical service life, so you can budget the five-year cost of ownership before the instrument arrives.

Eight product families

Instruments buyers specify most often

Each of these has a photograph, a published specification table and a full standards list. Follow any model for the full configuration options and the method it satisfies.

Method compliance, stated point by point

The reference other suppliers do not publish

Isokinetic stack testing follows US EPA Method 1–5, EN 13264-1 or GB/T 16157-1996. Stack gas analysis follows EPA Methods 3A, 6, 7, 10 and 14 or EN 15259-3. Dioxin sampling follows EPA Method 23 or EN 1948-2. The full equivalence table covers 23 parameters across four jurisdictions, states what each method actually determines, and links to the instruments that execute them.

The table is also available as a spreadsheet for tender documents and client submissions.

Manufacturing, calibration and service under one roof

Production

Sampling heads, gas paths and electronic cores are assembled and functionally tested in-house. High-load low-noise sampling pumps and industrial embedded control platforms are selected for field durability rather than for bench performance in a laboratory.

Calibration

Every instrument is calibrated against traceable reference standards before dispatch. The calibration record travels with the unit, listing the measured values, the reference standard used and the acceptance tolerance.

Service and spares

Spare part lists, consumable part numbers and typical service life are published per product family. Long-life wearing parts are stocked, and calibration and repair service is available even for instruments bought through a distributor.

OEM and ODM

Private label, sensor modules, custom firmware

Kesen manufactures for other brands. We build under customer names, model numbers, documentation and packaging — from a logo and nameplate change through to a fully re-engineered platform, including optical measurement cores supplied to instrument builders with firmware, protocol and calibration tooling.

Stated before you commit: MOQ by model · non-recurring engineering cost and what it covers · lead time to first article · channel protection, so your private-label models are not sold to your competitors. OEM & ODM programme →

A note on what we do not claim

Some of our instruments carry CE and GB 3836 (IECEx-aligned) conformity. Those are not the same as a certificate issued by a European notified body, and we describe them accurately rather than implying a certification we do not hold. The same applies to suitability declarations: Kesen supplies the instrument configuration and verification records, and the compliance report is prepared by your own accredited test body.

Send us your method, your gas and your range

Tell us the application, the measurement range, the gas or parameter, the output protocol you need and your target delivery date. An engineer will reply with a configuration recommendation and a quotation — normally within one working day.
